Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North welcomes North Scottsdale's newest dynamic culinary experience Talavera.
Talavera is named for a type of brightly colored, hand painted Mexican pottery. The name is inspired by the colorful look and feel of the redesigned dining room that incorporates the bold palette of the Sonoran Desert in full bloom. The central focal point is a dramatic fire element framed by glass - positioned for both indoor and outdoor diners to enjoy - showcasing elevated city and desert views.
The menu - as envisioned by Executive Chef Mel Mecinas, focuses on fresh seasonal ingredients, emphasizing prime cuts of meat, poultry and game from boutique purveyors as well as a wide variety of seafood. A hallmark of the new restaurant is elements of tableside presentation woven into the meal from start to finish.
A private dining room accompanies Talavera, showcasing the finest Russian vodka, hand-selected Mexican tequila and collection of American caviar. Also included in the restaurant is a private wine cellar, ideal for small parties and set with a communal, raised table, reminiscent of a Spanish tapas bar. Australian wines form the body of the wine collection, rivaling the best California selections while offering a fresh new approach.
